We Are More Powerful Than We Know

Life for so many seems very strange right now, and yes we are certainly in unchartered territory. However, often what we think can be so horrible and awful from the perspective of our human selves, can be seen as incredible and empowering from the perspective of the soul.

Earth is a school and we are here to learn about love. The opposite of love is fear. We are currently on a planet of duality and we have the experience of contrast to support us making our personal choices and setting our personal intentions.  And as we do, we have the ability to bring more of what we want, choose and intend onto this planet.

Fear is not necessarily” the bad guy” it is an important ingredient, powerful quality and catalyst that can inspire growth, healing, and help inform our personal intentions.

So, what intentions are you setting for yourself now?

I see this “pocket of time” as a rich opportunity to deepen in my faith, shore up my connection to The Divine, rest in peace, and become a beacon of love in the world.

Another one of my intentions is to support you in doing the same.

Rather than waiting for the world to change, so we can feel better, which is a victim posture, and giving our power away, we can instead become what we want to see in the world, which is choosing to become “an energetic influencer” and becoming empowered.

If you are ready to claim your power, manifest more from the inside out, to feel more peaceful and become a conduit for more faith, grace, and love in the world, I created this “From Fear to Faith” Guided Meditation for you.

I truly believe that no matter what things look like, or feel like, we are deeply loved by our Creator.  And this is where my sense of safety, peace, and comfort abides. I hope and pray you find comfort in this as well.

You are safe, you are seen, you are adored and you are Divinely Supported.

I invite you to be in touch with your thoughts, experiences of this meditation, prayer requests, questions, stories, revelations or anything else you would like to share,

Sending you blessings of grace, ease, peace, gratitude, empowerment, comfort, and ever-expanding love,

Tammi Baliszewski, Ph.D

I am certain you have heard the saying, “if you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always got.” So, if you want greater success, more prosperity, be used for greater service, or a “bigger life,” you need to be willing to go beyond your current limits and stretch out of your comfort zone.

I remember uttering a prayer, something to the effect: “God, use me for your purpose, I want to be of service.” Shortly thereafter I was asked to do some volunteer teaching – I was panic stricken! I thought, I am not ready for this…then the next thought dropped in, “be careful what you ask for.”

Courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to move forward despite fear. The root of the word courage is from Old French corage, from cuer heart, so the word “courage” can be literally translated to mean “Rage of the Heart.” I think courage is a vital quality if one wants to live a heart-based life rather than a head-based one. Further confirmation of that fact comes from the definition of courage in the dictionary: Courage – The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger, fear, or vicissitudes with self-possession, confidence, and resolution; bravery. In other words…you have to be out of your mind!

I remember feeling paralyzed and afraid to move forward when some big opportunities started presenting themselves (publishing my book, teaching classes, an offer to host my own radio show). My mind said NO WAY, my heart said LET’S PLAY! The heart will encourage you to move forward and grow while the mind will keep you playing small. The mind will tell you: better the devil you know than the angel you don’t. The mind wants to “understand” and have control, the heart wants to expand, grow and give and receive love. I have found when the desire for love overpowers the need for control is when life gets really interesting, fun and exciting!

Love takes courage (what if you get rejected?), service takes courage (what if you don’t have anything to offer?), stepping out more fully into the world takes courage (what if people laugh?). If you want to uplevel and expand in your life, you will have to go through glass ceilings and be confronted with experiences, situations, and people that will take you out of your comfort zone and into unchartered territory. But it is sort of like the Indiana Jones movie, when you take that step in faith, the bridge shows up to support you. And if you don’t have the courage and don’t take that leap of faith, you may never find out that you can fly!

This week I am addressing the subject of manifestation and courage. We all want to be able to create prosperity and manifest the things we want in the world. A very important ingredient in the “manifestation recipe” is the quality of courage. When we do the inner work to release unconscious constrictions (like I mentioned in last weeks blog), opportunities can then present we will need to take action steps on. This action can take us out of our comfort zone and into unchartered territory, which can be daunting, uncomfortable and downright scary!

Several people who are reading my book and doing the exercises, feel they are ready to manifest a partner. I often suggest joining a dating service or signing up on E-Harmony, not necessarily because it is where I think they are going to meet their future husband or wife, but to let the Universe know that they are serious and willing to take action on their own behalf. It can be scary, but very important in the process of grounding our intentions and manifesting our desires.

As some of you may know I have been preparing to get my book out in the world. For my birthday a very good friend has done the ground work to get me into several book stores for signings…she even has the contract ready for me! My response to this heartfelt and generous gift was silence, blanching, stomach flipping nausea and a vacant wide eyed stare – probably not the response she was hoping for. It is not that I was not grateful….I was just scared! I thought to myself: “Be careful what you ask for!”

Courage is not the absence of fear, but moving forward in spite of fear. Eleanor Roosevelt has a wonderful quote: “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.” So tomorrow I am going to look fear in the face, call my friend, coordinate our calendars and schedule some signing dates. My intention is to consistently take small steps in the direction of my dreams and support others in doing the same. And hopefully I will see you walking next to me on the path of manifestation, authentic power and our soul’s true purpose!
